FAQ’s
What time should students arrive?
8.15 am is the recommended time for students to arrive at school. Students arriving without parents/guardians before 8.15 must assemble and sit in the undercover area to be supervised by admin delegates. To ensure safety and organisation in the event of an evacuation, parents and guardians arriving before 8.15 am must also sit in the undercover area.
How do I purchase uniforms?
Uniform orders can be purchased online from the School Uniform Shop. Further information is available in the Uniform Shop on the school website.
What if students arrive late?
Children who arrive after 8.30 a.m. must go to the office to collect a late note. If parents do not accompany them, a Compass message will be sent requesting a reason for students attending late.
Can my child leave school during the day?
Students may not leave the school site without permission. A Leave Pass must be completed by a parent or nominated adult, collected from the administration office, and given to the classroom teacher prior to collecting the student.
What if my child is absent?
The school uses Compass for absence notifications. Please notify the school via Compass or contact the office, including your child's name, date, and reason for absence.
What if parents enter during school hours?
All visitors must sign in on the iPad at the administration office during school hours.
Is the school air-conditioned?
Ducted evaporative air-conditioning is installed throughout the school.
Where can I not park?
Staff car parks on Chidzey Drive are for authorised vehicles only. Please follow signage and Kiss and Drive protocols and be mindful of neighbours and their driveways.
Do I need to provide immunisation records?
Yes. An up-to-date Immunisation History Statement is required on enrolment.
Statement is accessible via Australian Immunisation Register from MyGov/Medicare.
For immunsation enquiries: 1800 653 809. Children are not immunised at school.
Are hats compulsory?
Yes. A broad-brimmed hat is required year-round for outdoor activities. SPF30+ sunscreen is also recommended.
Are in-school health services provided?
Yes. A Community Health Nurse from Armadale Health Service manages screening and referrals. Parents are advised of any concerns.
How are serious health conditions managed?
Medical conditions are identified on enrolment, and a Medical Action Plan is developed and updated annually to ensure appropriate care.
What if my child is sick at school?
Parents should keep sick children at home. Minor injuries are treated at school, and parents will be contacted if further care is needed.
Can my child have medication at school?
Yes. Medication must be labelled and an authority form completed. Medication will not be administered without written consent.
Is dental therapy available?
Yes. Free service is available at;

The service provides ongoing preventative dental care for enrolled children.
Is there a school psychologist?
Yes. The Deputy Principal manages referrals. Parental consent is required, and support plans may be developed.
When are assemblies?
Assemblies are held at 8.30 a.m. every second Thursday. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend.
Is before/after school care available?
Yes. OSH Club provides onsite care before and after school. External childcare providers also offer drop-off and pick-up services.
Can I bring pets to school?
No. Pets are not permitted unless approved by the Principal or a delegate.
